About Us

Our history

Australian Height Safety Services was founded in 2001 by three experts in height safety and fall prevention. Since then, the Victorian business has become a national operator with personnel in every state in Australia.

Our team has installed thousands of fall prevention systems across a range of industries over the years. We have helped over 1,000 companies achieve their height safety compliance for their premises.

The three founding members, Cameron, Mark and Rohan, are still present today. They continue to oversee the expansion of the business and promote the latest developments in height safety and fall prevention.

The installation process

Our experienced estimators will conduct an inspection of your premises and provide you with a written description of the fall prevention systems required to achieve compliance and the price of installation.

All our installations are carried out by licensed plumbers, and we provide plumbing compliance certificates for all roof penetrations that we perform.

Once completed, we guarantee the regulatory compliance of all our installations. Our high-quality fall prevention products and expert installation practices ensure the safety of all personnel working at heights, minimising the risk of falls and worker injuries.

20 years experience as a Licensed plumber, fall prevention expert, height safety installer and trainer, and scaffold installer.Role – Project manage all projects and client communications. Report directly to clients’ project manager and ensure they are updated weekly on the progress of the project.

Director

25 years experience as a licensed Melbourne roofing plumber, fall prevention expert and height safety installer.

Rohan Puddy

Rohan Puddy

Operations Supervisor

25 years experience as a rope access specialist, fall prevention expert, height safety installer, welder, and fabricator. Supervises the completion of projects as the point of contact and manager of all state supervisors.

Jane Howard

Office Manager

Office Manager for over 8 years for Australian Height Safety Services.Role – Manages AHSS office administration and assists in the coordination of all contractors and materials for current and upcoming projects.

Stewart Gill

Stewart Gill

Height Safety Operations Manager

Stewart has over 35 years’ experience in mechanical, production and project engineering management in the UK and holds a TEC Certificate in Mechanical & Production Engineering. On emigrating to Australia in 2004 has worked for a leading first tier supplier to the Major Automotive manufacturers, and in 2009 moved to Business Development for a well renowned height safety company in Melbourne. Stewart has continued to work in that industry ever since as Height Safety Manger and Operations Manager.
